Erha Medan by HMP Architects

Basically, the building is a simple lifted box which solves complex function and requirements. The objective of the project is to build a comfortable and cozy skin clinic.

The basic planning and programming of the project is to create functional spaces. One of the terms is to separate public and staff circulation, so the doctors and patients will only meet in the consultation/treatment room.

The façade of the building becomes an important element in giving attractive impressions. This was achieved by LED lights installed at the structural transom.

The transparent façade provides natural lighting inside the building in daytime, mainly in public area. The interior of the building is dominated by warm and neutral tones color, also with soft lighting which makes an intimate ambience.

Because of the limitation of space, the building is lifted up to create more space for parking area and other needs. The drop off area is located on the same level with the parking area.

The curved glass at east elevation makes the building has a dynamic sense form.

Hopefully, the building presence will increase the commercial value of the area and also having a positive impact on the region. This clinic is built as a response to the additional needs (beauty treatments) of peoples in Medan.
